Elisabeth Taucher is a pulmonologist who currently works on a project, investigating the role of a clinically supervised exercise program on the outcome in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. The primary outcome parameter would be the response to immunotherapy upon exercise, since the cytokine response resulting from acute exercise is likely to improve antitumor immunity. In addition, she works on a project investigating NMR metabolomics in lung fibrosis tissue versus healthy controls.
