Vasile Foris is a respiratory care physician and scientist with a strong research focus on multi-omics determinants of pulmonary vascular diseases. The main scientific achievements include the characterization of circulating progenitor cells in pulmonary hypertension (PH), the development of a multipanel diagnostic biomarker model of apelin isoforms and the unraveling of the genetic underpinnings of COPD associated PH.
