Martin Zacharias is a board-certified pathologist specializing in pulmonary pathology and molecular pathology. His main research interest is to better understand tissue manifestations of lung diseases by combining a plethora of morphological and molecular methods including spatially resolved transcriptomics. In future, he is planning to apply this broad methodological repertoire to other pulmonary diseases including interstitial lung diseases (ILDs).
